COURT ADMINISTRATION AND CASE MANAGEMENT PROJECT (CACM)

PPDC with support from the US Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law enforcement is currently pioneering the systematic and remote access for automation of the case management, court scheduling and court administration processes working with a wide range of stakeholders in the Judiciary, Ministries of Justice, the Police Force, the Prisons/correctional institutions, Lawyers in Plateau, Nasarawa and Kaduna States.

The CACM project focuses on addressing the gaps in structures for case management in the Courts which are weak or absent in some cases, and for which there are no document backup systems in place. The project aims to support collective efforts towards achieving a reduction in awaiting trial inmates for which more than 70% of those in correctional facilities across Nigeria are awaiting trial.
